FIXIEBOYZ408 – DOWN TOWN SF

Today was a good one. The sun was shinning, Fleet Week was in full effect and the FIXIEBOYZ made their way up to SF to ride bikes for the day. Whenever we get the gang together I try to get a family photo which usually that means setting the timer and running into the shot. In this case there are two sandwiched at the beginning and end of this post. Kameren tried to fight a security guard, but the dude that kicked us out from the huge ONE down town gave everyone one more try before giving us the boot.

FIXIEBOYZ408 – CITY LURKING

The Fixie Fam from San Jose (FIXIEBOYZ408) came up to San Francisco on Saturday to ride, explore, and stack clips. I didn’t feel like I shot a lot throughout the day, but after sifting through photos this morning I walked away with a handful decent shots. Not to mention all the studio bike shots I took of all their FGFS builds in the beginning of the day. It was mad fun having those dudes in town and we’ll have to find a way to make this a more regular occurrence. Keep your eyes peeled for full rundowns of all of their bikes as well as footage from this session.

SF BIKE EXPO 2015 – PHOTOS

First things first, huge shout out to everybody who came to the the 2015 SF Bike Expo to ride, kick it and support the scene. It’s times like this and friends of this caliber that remind me of why I started riding FGFS to begin with. None of this would have been possible without you, and after seeing the stoke this event cultivated we’re going to pick up the pace on hosting more FGFS Jams of our own. FIXIEBOYZ408 – SATURDAY IN SF

On Saturday the FIXIEBOYZ408 packed their bikes, piled into a van and drove up to San Francisco to ride with us for the day. We met up at 3rd & Army, and then ventured into Hunters Point from there. Our goal was to work our way to Hilltop park and hit whatever spots we found along the way until eventually arriving at San Francisco’s oldest skatepark, The Dish. After that we roamed around the neighborhood until we came across this abandoned school with a bunch of unique things to ride. Keep your eyes peeled for footage of this day coming from both us and the Fixie Boyz themselves. // 07.18.2015

35MM – JAOA DANAIKRIT 2014

With the new year right around the corner I took the time today to go through and post some photos from when Jaoa Danaikrit was staying with us in the Bay Area earlier this year. My personal favorite photo from this set is the shot of Jaoa standing next to my Dad (Wheel Talk Team Manager) after a long day at the horse races in Berkley. There’s nothing like betting on ponies, drinking dollar beers, and eating hot dogs while spending quality time with the family. The shot of everybody posted up next to the Rack Solid van was from the day we filmed the “Alameda Send Off” video of the Thai dudes last day in town. Every so often the dudes from San Jose come up to stay at our pad in the East Bay and ride over the weekend. Jimmy Watcha, Kent Ly, and Luciano Ortiz are just a few of the local riders from SJ that you should keep your eye on. After a long day of riding street spots in Oakland, we hit up China Town to grab some cheap grub before riding back under the bay through the Webster Tube. Check out more 35mm Photos HERE.
